The $5 Monthly Reward is a coupon that active GameStop Pro members receive once per month. 

  • It’s issued during the first week of each month 
  • It provides $5 off one eligible item 
  • It can be used in store or online  

 The discount automatically applies to the most expensive eligible item in your order.

New Pro members do not receive the $5 Monthly Reward for the month they enroll.

  • Collectibles 
  • Hardware 
  • Most other physical items GameStop sells

The $5 Monthly Reward cannot be applied to:  

  • Gift cards 
  • Taxes or fees 
  • Downloadable content (DLC)

  • InStore Reservations

How to Use It In Store 

At checkout: 

  • Provide your Pro membership info (such as your phone number), or 
  • Show the coupon code from your Pro account 

The store associate can apply the reward for you.

  1. Sign in to your Pro account 
  2. Add an eligible item to your cart 
  3. On the cart page, select Apply next to the $5 Monthly Reward  
  4. Confirm the discount before completing checkout

 When You Don’t Need to Contact GameStop 

You usually don’t need support assistance if: 

  • You didn’t receive the reward in your enrollment month 
  • The reward expired at the end of the month 
  • The reward didn’t apply due to an excluded item 
  • It applied to the highestpriced eligible item instead of another item 
  • You forgot to use it before the month ended 

All of these follow standard reward rules. 

 

⏱️ When Should I Contact GameStop? 

Contact GameStop only if: 

  • You’re an active Pro member and didn’t receive the reward after the first week of the month 
  • The reward appears but won’t apply to an eligible item 
  • Your Pro status isn’t recognized at checkout (online or in store)
