At this time, GameStop does not offer online or mail-in trade-ins.
✅ How to Complete a Trade-In
To trade items:
- Bring them to a physical GameStop store
- A store associate will inspect the items and complete the trade at the register
You can find your nearest location using the Store Locator on GameStop.com.
⚠️ Important to Know
- Online tools (like the Trade Center) provide value estimates only
- All trades must be:
- Accepted
- Inspected
- Processed in person
- Trade values and eligibility are finalized in store
Customer Service cannot process trades online or ship trade items on your behalf.
When You Don’t Need to Contact GameStop
You usually don’t need support assistance if:
- You’re looking to trade items remotely
- You were told trades must be done in store
- You’re trying to complete a trade online
These limitations are expected under the trade-in program.
⏱️ When Should I Contact GameStop?
Contact GameStop only if:
- You need help finding the closest store
- You’re unsure whether an item is eligible for trade before visiting
- You can’t locate a store that performs trade-ins
