If you're having login issues with your account, forgot your password, or having issues finding the right username, you can follow the steps below to help gain access!
When troubleshooting login issues you'll want to make sure you clear your cookies and cache and reattempt to login with the same credentials. If you are still having issues remember you'll want to use the original email address you used when you signed up for the account.
If you have the correct email and are still having issues move on to resetting your password!
Note! - If you're account is locked, you will need to wait 15 minutes before attempting to login again or you can reset your password.
Password Reset
To reset your password, click on the "Sign In" icon at the top right of GameStop.com website.
This will lead you to a screen asking for the email associated with your account, and will include the option to click on "Forgot Password?"
Enter the email tied to your account and you'll receive a message stating that an email has been sent with more information on how to reset your password. Once you open the email, click on the button that says Reset Password. The email will look similar to the image below.
Once you've reset your password, you'll be able to login with the new credentials you've just updated.
If you're still unable to login, try the troubleshooting steps below.
Basic Account Troubleshooting
- Clear your browser's cache and cookies
- Restart the device
- Try a different browser
- Wait 15 minutes then try again
- Verify that there are no ad blockers running or other jailbroken software such as a VPN provider.
- Make sure you are accessing your email on the same device you requested the verification code/Password. Reset with (so if you tried on the computer, be sure to access your email on the same computer).
- Be sure to delete ALL previous password reset emails first and then request a new one.
- Wait 15 minutes then try again
