How do I start a return?

If there are ever any issues with your order where it needs to be returned to us, you can start the return online! It's quick, easy, and will save you tons of time! If the item you need to return is within our return policy, follow the steps below and we'll send you a return label to return your item back to us. Once we receive your item back and it's verified by our warehouse, we'll get started on processing your return!

 

In-Store Purchases

If the item was bought in-store you MUST return it to any store with the receipt, if you lost your receipt then you may return it to the store and they can assist in locating the purchase in our system!


!!NOTE!! - If it's easier for you, you may also return your online purchase in store with the packing slip you received as long as the total is under $500.

 

Starting your return

Step 1. Go to our returns portal.

To start the process simply input your Order number and email. (Make sure there are no spaces!)

 

Here you will see the items listed on your order and how long you have until they will no longer be returnable.

 

Step 2. Select the item you wish to return and in the menu on the right if you want a Replacement or Refund (you'll see an option for if you didn't receive the item, we will cover this a bit later). For example I already own Cadence of Hyrule  (Great game!) for the switch so I would like to return it.

 

Step 3. Select if you would like to ship the item back to us via FedEx or Bring the item back to a local store.

!!NOTE!! - The Store option will only print a packing slip to help the store return your item. This does not guarantee that the store will process the return and the store cannot ship your item out for you

 

Step 4. Review the information before clicking the big "SUBMIT" button to confirm your return.

 

Based on your decision you can either print out the return label and bring the package to a local FedEx location or print out the Return receipt and bring it with your item to a local GameStop store.

 

 

You may receive an error message saying "We don't seem to recognize that order number or zip code." This error can occur for a couple of reasons including:

  • The information you input was incorrect.
  • Your order is a Same Day Delivery order, or a "Buy Online Pick up In store" order, sadly these orders cannot be processed through the returns portal at this time. You can return the item to your local GameStop store.
  • Due to Digital content being non-returnable, if your order contains ANY digital items you will not be able to use the returns portal.
