Apple gift cards are redeemed directly through Apple, using your Apple ID.
They cannot be redeemed on GameStop.
✅ Always make sure you’re signed in to the correct Apple ID before redeeming.
Once redeemed, the balance is tied to that Apple ID and can’t be transferred.
✅ Before You Start
- Apple gift cards use a 16‑digit code
- The code is located:
- On the back of a physical card
(you may need to peel or gently scratch off the label) - In the email for digital gift cards
- On the back of a physical card
Redeem on iPhone, iPad, or Apple Vision Pro
- Open the App Store app
- Tap your profile photo or Sign-in button at the top
- Tap Redeem Gift Card or Code
- If you don’t see this option, sign in with your Apple ID first
- Choose one option:
- Use Camera (scan the code), or
- Enter Code Manually
- Tap Redeem to finish
Redeem on a Mac
- Open the App Store
- Click your name or the Sign-In button in the sidebar
- Click Redeem Gift Card
- Sign in with your Apple ID if prompted
- Choose:
- Use Camera, or
- Enter the code manually
- Complete redemption
Redeem on a Windows PC
- Open the Apple Music app or Apple TV app
- Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar
- Select Redeem
- Enter the 16‑digit code
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete redemption
When You Don’t Need to Contact GameStop
You usually don’t need GameStop support if:
- You redeemed the card successfully through Apple
- The balance appears in your Apple ID
- You redeemed the card on the wrong Apple account
- You’re unsure how to use the balance in Apple services
All Apple gift card balances and redemptions are handled by Apple, not GameStop.
⏱️ When Should I Contact Support?
Contact Apple Support if:
- The code doesn’t work during redemption
- You’re unsure whether a code was already redeemed
- Your balance doesn’t appear after successful redemption
Contact GameStop only if:
- The Apple gift card code was never delivered
- The code is missing from your order confirmation email
