You can redeem a PlayStation Store voucher code using:
- A web browser
- A PS5 console
- A PS4 console
Once redeemed, the credit or content is immediately applied to your PlayStation account.
✅ Voucher codes are 12 digits and must be redeemed on the PlayStation Store, not GameStop.
Redeem a Code From a Web Browser
- Go to the PlayStation Store
- Select your profile icon at the top of the page
- Carefully enter the 12‑digit code
- Select Continue
✅ The credit or content is now applied to your account.
Redeem a Code on PS5
- Open PlayStation Store
- Press Triangle to open the menu
- Select … (More) → Redeem Code
- Enter the 12‑digit code and select Redeem
- Select Download to start right away
(Download won’t appear for content that doesn’t require one)
Redeem a Code on PS4
- Open PlayStation Store
- Scroll to the bottom of the sidebar and select Redeem Codes
- Enter the 12‑digit code
- Select Continue → Confirm / Yes
- Select Continue → Download if prompted
(Options won’t appear for content that doesn’t require a download)
Redeem During Checkout (Optional)
You can also redeem a voucher during PlayStation Store checkout by selecting
Redeem Codes and Gift Cards from the payment method menu.
When You Don’t Need to Contact GameStop
You usually don’t need GameStop support if:
- The code was successfully redeemed on the PlayStation Store
- The credit/content is already applied to your PlayStation account
- Download options don’t appear for non-downloadable content
- You redeemed the code on PS4, PS5, or a browser correctly
GameStop cannot redeem PlayStation codes on your behalf.
⏱️ When Should I Contact Support?
Contact support only if:
- The code was entered correctly and PlayStation Store shows an error
- You’re unsure whether the code was already redeemed
- The code doesn’t work across all redemption methods listed above
In these cases, contact PlayStation Support, as voucher redemption is handled by Sony—not GameStop.
