❗ Why Am I Seeing a Payment Issue?
Payment issues are usually caused by one of the following:
- Insufficient funds
- Expired card information
- Billing address mismatch
- Authorization declined by your bank

⏱️ Important: 24‑Hour Deadline
You have 24 hours from when the payment issue occurs to update your payment.
If the issue isn’t fixed within that time, the order will be automatically cancelled.
Fixing the payment right away is the safest way to keep your order.

✅ How to Update Your Payment
If You Have a GameStop Account
- Sign in to your account
- Go to Your Orders
- Select the order with the payment issue
- Choose Edit Payment
- Enter the updated payment information
- Select Save Changes, then refresh the page and review your order

If You Checked Out as a Guest
- Go to Track Order on GameStop.com
- Locate your order using the required order details
- Select Edit Payment
- Enter the new or corrected payment information
- Select Save Changes, then refresh and review the order

Good to Know About Charges
- GameStop does not charge your payment method until your item ships
- We do place a temporary authorization to confirm your payment is valid
- This authorization may appear as a pending charge but drops off quickly
