What Does My Tracking Status Mean?

Modified on Fri, 24 Apr at 1:11 PM

Tracking updates show where your package is in the shipping process.
Most statuses are normal and don’t require any action from you.

Below is what each status means and when (if ever) you need to do something.

Common Tracking Statuses (No Action Needed)

Shipping Label Created, Awaiting Item

The shipping label has been created and confirmed.
Your package is waiting to be picked up by the carrier to begin transit.

This is normal, especially shortly after shipment.

Shape

Arrived at Facility

Your package has arrived at a carrier facility and is being processed.

This means it’s moving through the carrier’s network.

Shape

Departed Facility

Your package has left the carrier’s facility and is moving to the next location.

 No action needed.

Shape

In Transit

Your package is currently on its way to you.

This can appear multiple times as it moves between facilities.

Shape

Out for Delivery

Your package is on the delivery truck and should arrive that day.

Delivery is expected unless a delivery issue occurs.

Delivery-Related Statuses (Read Carefully)

Available for Pickup

The carrier was unable to deliver your package and it is now available for pickup at a local carrier facility.

You may need to pick it up directly from the carrier.

Shape

⚠️ Insufficient Address

The shipping address is missing required details, such as:

  • Apartment or unit number
  • Building information
  • Other delivery-critical details

The carrier needs corrected address information to proceed.

Shape

No Access to Delivery Location

The carrier could not access your delivery location, such as:

  • A gated community
  • A restricted building
  • An inaccessible area

The carrier will usually attempt delivery again.

Shape

 Delivered / Delivery Attempted

  • Your package was successfully deliveredor
  • The carrier attempted delivery and was unsuccessful

In most cases, the carrier will automatically reattempt delivery.

When You Don’t Need to Contact GameStop

You usually don’t need support assistance if:

  • Your package is marked In Transit or Arrived/Departed Facility
  • The label was just created
  • A delivery attempt is pending
  • Tracking hasn’t updated in the last 24–48 hours

These are normal carrier processes.

⏱️ When Should I Contact GameStop?

Contact GameStop only if:

  • Your tracking shows Delivered, but the package was not received after a reasonable wait
  • The carrier has stopped reattempting delivery
  • Tracking has not updated for an unusually long time with no explanation
